After several years as a corporate executive, I started my own business to provide operational consulting. My first client was a Medicare Advantage company that had been sanctioned by CMS* and unable to enroll new members in their plans until their sales and servicing processes had been improved. I was engaged to create new processes for their call centers and sales agents. I participated in several CMS audits until they received the green light to sell again. I spent time in their call centers in the Philippines and assisted with moving their member services call center back to the U.S. For many years, I would fly into the city where they had contracted a vendor to answer phone calls from TV ads and marketing materials, and assist with agent accreditation, training, and vendor management. There came a time when I decided to stop traveling and use my knowledge to help others; a time to do something more meaningful…
